Designer / Junior Art Director Intern

Ruby Creative is a small design agency with big projects — and big clients. They are a tight knit group of highly talented, passionate, driven, yet very humble and warm people that I have the honor to work with.

They’ve given me the opportunity and freedom to create design and artworks for clients of theirs, including me in every step of the process from start to finish, as well as letting me jump in and take responsibility for ongoing projects. So far I’ve worked with graphic design, motion design, So/Me, illustration, key art and app design.

Being close to finalizing my studies at Medieinstitutet, these experiences have been monumental in solidifying my role as a designer, creator, employee and colleague, and building the confidence I need to start my career, and I am very grateful for the trust Ruby Creative has had in me.

Last spring I interned at Renée Voltaire, a company that manufactures and sells health food and goods. There, I further developed my skills in graphic design and printing, photography and editing, as well as text and illustration.

Unpacking products, warehouse work, working the register and banking, beverage tastings, facility cleaning, and above all customer service, with
a strong focus on responsible sales. Keywords: responsibility, care, and knowledge.

I have had the privilege of having lovely customer relationships but also to work with great colleagues who support each other in all situations. We knew how to have fun together - while also performing and delivering regardless of circumstances.

For a period of time, I was responsible for white wines and ensured that all products were sorted correctly, available on the shelf, met customer demand, and managed the introduction and phasing out of products in the supply chain.

Part-time position at Monki, Kungsgatan. Responsibilities included opening
and closing, unpacking merchandise, working the register, and a strong focus on providing customers with a welcoming, warm and personal experience. During the summer and weekends, we experienced high customer demand, which taught me the importance of communication between colleagues, but also how much I enjoy helping customers find the right clothes for them. I was often in charge of the jeans department, which was a really fun and rewarding experience.

As an employee at Retail Staffing, I work in the substitute pool at Hemtex,
and soon also at Cartier. At Hemtex, I take care of the store and customers, unpack items, maintain the store, and provide advice and expertise on
Hemtex's various products and materials.

At Elgiganten, I helped customers find the right TV and HI-FI systems, along with the appropriate accessories and insurance. I started shortly before Christmas and learned to handle customers under high pressure, discovering
a natural talent for customer service.
